Powerball - Low and High Number Distribution

This report shows the low and high number distribution for the winning number combination. This report is based on the winning lottery ball combinations which have been chosen in the past 24* drawings.

Low and high distribution works by grouping the numbers into two categories, low numbered and higher numbered lottery balls. We then compare the winning numbers and see which group they fall into. Using this information helps you to choose a winning number combination which aligns to these findings.

Because in the Powerball lottery you really have two different number groups we will need to separate both of these into their own findings. For the white lottery ball number group we count all numbers below 35 as our low numbers. Obviously any number which is higher is put into our high number group. And for the Powerball number group we count all numbers below 14 as our low numbers. And again any number which is higher is put into our high number group for the Powerball analysis.

Let's look at an example and explain how to read the chart. For clarity we will include the individual lottery ticket data on the example, however we remove this data from the actual report.

Example: White Ball Numbers - High / Low. In our example the Low ball numbers are below 30.

Draw Total Low Total High Winning Ticket Numbers
1 1 4 7 - 33 - 39 - 52 - 55 - 33
2 1 4 4 - 31 - 41 - 47 - 55 - 1
3 2 3 17 - 29 - 31 - 48 - 49 - 34

Looking at draw number one in our example you can see that we have only one number in the white ball group that is below 30 and the other four white lottery balls are greater than 29. So here we have a winning lottery ticket that falls into the "Low 1 & High 4" distribution.

In draw number three of our example you can see that two winning numbers are below 30 and the other three are 30 or higher. Remember the Powerball is not counted in this chart. For the Powerball we do the same analysis but with a different range for the high and low distribution.

* For our non-member visitors and members who are no logged in, we randomly choose the number of past lottery drawings to use in our statistics each time you visit or refresh the page. This number can be modified if you are a member so that you can choose more or less drawings for your customized lottery analysis.

** If this is not the most recent lottery drawing date, give us a little time to update our records, then check back.

*** For large results we limit the table to display only the last 20 lottery drawings otherwise the table/page would be too large. Imagin what this would look like if you were using the last 500 drawings in your analysis. We do use the total number of choices in the analysis, we just do not display them all in the table of recient drawings.
